Decorate first around light poles and in front of vacant buildings. Feel free to advertise your business! We can have funny scarecrows, famous look-a-like scarecrows, ugly scarecrows, beautiful scarecrows, scary scarecrows, the possibilities are endless! All light poles are first-come-first-serve. **PLEASE READ**
Rules:
1. Pre-register for the contest no later than Oct. 8th.
2. Scarecrow must be located within the Business Improvement District.
3. The height of each scarecrow structure should not exceed 8 feet nor be less than 5 feet. Please firmly secure to light poles and tree wells.
4. No part of the structure can impede sidewalk traffic, ramps, or access to businesses. Organizers will be inspecting to ensure compliance and may request changes be made.
5. Scarecrows should be constructed to withstand weather conditions.
6. Scarecrows must be set up for judging by 5pm, Saturday Oct 9
7. A photo must be sent to bothwella@cityofnampa.us for entry in to the contest.
8. Scarecrows must be removed no later than Nov 6th.
9. Photos of each scarecrow will be posted to social media for voting and winners announced on October 26th.
